TEACHING MODELS
Each classroom is designed to address the three types of teaching styles: whole group, small group, and learning stations. Age appropriate materials will be available in each learning station, and rotated out periodically to keep the learning experience fun and exciting for the child.
GROUPS
WHOLE GROUPS
WHOLE GROUPS
WHOLE GROUPS
Whole group teaching is best illustrated during circle time when the children are gathered together in a circle to discuss and share daily practices about concepts as they are related to counting, shapes, colors and alphabets. This time is also used to introduce the daily objective and to build literacy skills together.
SMALL GROUPS
Small group teaching is the method used to analyze & assess data and to reteach non-mastery skills.
This strategy is most effective with 6 or less children in a group.
